Keeping up...

Miss Addy has kept us laughing and entertained with her screaming/yelling fits. She only laughs at the dog, regardless of how hard we try. He doesn't even have to try.
Grandpa and Grandma Thayn came to visit last weekend. It was a short visit, but a nice one. Addy wouldn't laugh, but she still showed them her voice.

For our 1st Anniversary/belated Honeymoon we have decided to go spend a few weeks in west Texas with the Vine's. They came to our wedding, and Matt was Todd's best man. They are an awesome family and Todd is looing forward to hog hunting. Nothing says romantic like some good ole hog hunting for your anniversary. It will be a nice warm getaway nonetheless.

Her first laugh...and tantrum?

So on January 1st, Addy laughed for the first time. First she laughed at mom, then gave the rest of her laughs to the dog. Glad she finds the dog funny, because I'm usually yelling at him telling him to get out of the way. I got it a little bit on video. It's a bit shaky, but captures the moment.

Then today, she decided to start practicing how to throw tantrums. She seemed to be enjoying the sound of her voice. There was no apparent reason why why was doing this, so we found ourselves laughing at it. In the video you can hear me laughing and see Todd laughing as the camera shakes. The last few seconds when someone starts saying "no, no, no" was the movie we were watching and not us telling her no. Although we may find ourselves saying this in the future.
Video under construction. Check back later.
Either way, we are having so much fun watching her personality come out and each day we both grin ear-to-ear. She is tons of fun.
Also, she is wearing a bib because she loves to blow bubbles and slobber all over. So far we go through 4-5 bibs a day. She likes to suck on them too.

Happy New Year!!

2010 was an amazing year for us. We were married in April and had a baby in August, which meant that the presents never stopped coming. Our little Addison is growing so fast and everyday she seems to learn new things. She can pull herself up into sitting position in the swing or on our laps and she has mastered the art of screaming in order to get our attention, not that she lacks it.
We will post updates on her milestones and accomplishments. Everyday there seems to be funny stories.
